melamine-formaldehyde resin products for a wide variety of end use applications.
All of our products exhibit excellent lot-to-lot consistency, exceptional clarity, low color and low
reactive by-products. Powder coating resins are offered for Hybrid, TGIC, Primid, Polyester,
and UV-curable applications. Piothane polyols are engineered in a variety of polymer backbones,
molecular weights and functionality with properties tailored to meet your application needs.
Located in Auburn, Maine, Panolam Specialty Resins designs, develops, manufactures,
and markets:
• Piomel melamine-formaldehyde saturating and wet strength resins,
• Pioester polyester resins used primarily in powder coatings, molding compounds, saturants,
and gelcoats,
• Piothane polyester resins used in a variety of polyurethane-based products such as coatings,
adhesives, sealants, elastomers, thermoplastics, foams, and microcellular products.
